Hydraulic brakes help

I am fitting some Hayes Hydraulic disc brakes to my Specialized Epic Frame. I have a problem, the rear calliper pipe if fouling the rear shock, the pipe goes straight into the calliper and needs to have an angle to pass by the shock, any suggestions on how to do this? Hayes do make a pipe with a 30deg angle "Banjo" on the end but this is £25 and I'm a tight git and trying to save money.

Is there anywhere I can get an angled adaptor? CRC don't appear to do them.
