She's coughcoughahemthirtyfourcough and never been on a bike. Ever. Now she wants to learn. Ok, she may have to wait (she's three months preggers) but I thought, do I get a bike with stabilisers and pad her up...?

She has no balance.

I'm worried that once we have the baby, she's gonna get on my case to teach her.

Learning to pedal first, then balance second is the absolute wrong way to ride a bike.

Get on a bike minus cranks and learn to balance scooting along down hills first.

Then learn to pedal...
