Spacer Clip on Avid disc brakes

I've got Avid Juicy Carbon's and just gone and lost the spacer clip when taking the brake pads off and can't find it after looking for ages. Had a look on CRC and the only way I can get a replacement is getting a Avid spares set which costs £30! Anybody know a way to get round this or where I could get one cheaper? Almost tempted to get a whole brake off ebay, take the clip and sell the rest off to get money back - probably cheaper!

Do you mean the little springy clip that sits between the pads?

If so, you get a new one with each set of pads.

Yeah, that's what I was meaning. Good to hear that, need new pads soon anyway. I ended up spending the next half hour crawling around until I found it! Thanks very much.

RULE ONE : !!!

When working on bikes etc. i lay down a large bit of carpet from a skip etc. It stops stuff bouncing or rolling away if dropped etc.

I have gone nuts when a important piece has gone under something and i cannot get it out !
