Hehe, good work! Just like being a kid at Christmas. Haven't picked up a new bike for a while, but I was just like that with my car a few weeks back.

mumble mumble... nuts...

Huge failure to launch.

The bike shop havent had time to assemble the bike. They are working late tonight to get both bikes done (have baught a G3 for Mrs Gooby) so I will pick up early tomorrow morning.

I took it out the box (unassembled) and I was really surprised at how much lighter it was than the "PRO" version.

Even the little G3 with a 15" frame rides really well.

Yep.

Managed two rides on my Stealth since getting it mid-Jan; I just don't want to get it dirty...

Racked up a few hundred miles on the turbo, though.

I've built it from a frame with a few choice components so it's akin to a Five AM.

Lightweight.

My mountain bike gets used and abused no matter what the weather and my shiny Bianchi road bike I bought in January has seen its fair share of road grime and water in the course of the few hundred miles it's clocked so far smile

I have had so much fun on this bike over the last few days. From a basic "orientation" ride on the fire roads at Hurn to some real mud plugging / off trail stuff in the new forest to my usual "excercise" ride over hengisbury head, the bike has been superb. Getting used to full suspension and SPD pedals has left me spitting sand and leaves a few times but nothing more serious than the odd bruise and some hurt pride (why do you always bail in front of your mates?)

The fight back across 4 miles of sand covered promenade with a gale blowing sand and sleet in my face wasnt a highlight and my legs feel like jelly, but going with the wind was superb fun!

There is one problem with the bike - the useless unfit rider, have to work on that one.

Great bikes. smile

I've got an old sub 5 and I wouldn't change it for anything. It's due for a spot of modernising I feel, but the basic design is spot on.
