I, and most of my mates, have them. Mostly Cannondales (hard tails) and Ventana Full Sus bikes (think there's about 10 of us now). Anyone else got one?

If you haven't, and you and your other half love MTB'ing, I'd thoroughly recommend one. They're more sociable and the look on someones face when they're passed by one on a DH section is truly priceless.

To date we've "done" people on the Spooky Woods route at Glentress and even passed some motorcross bikes down the old road on the eastern side (rough side) of Mam Tor. Because of the length of the wheelbase they're very stable on very steep routes.

I have a rigid Dawes tandem mtb, doesn't really get onto anything too rough though due to the screams that eminate from the back. Have taken it down from Hollins cross to Castleton before and the length certainly does help on the steap stuff. I always find grounding can be an issue though.

You do get some interesting looks off passers by and other cyclists.

Bash-rings are your friend wink

That said, that is their Achilles heal - they don't do drops very well.

That said, I inadvertently jumped mine off the end of the see-saw at Glentress (one up though) as I'd started to get a weave on and that was the "safest" course of action.

How about some piccies???

I'm not sure if I'd want a go or not. Oh well, in those circumstances it's always better to do than not ;-)

I always find riding them one up a very strange experience. Fun to try and get the back wheel off the ground though.
