I need to get a few decent inner tubes in stock and, as ever, will be ordering from CRC. However, I have recentley started using the web ordering service as customer lines always engaged.

So, the question is will the Ritchey Lightweight 26x1.5 - 1.7 tube be okay for a 2" tyre? There isn't an option for a 26x2.0 in the presta valve.

The question is, then: are you specifically looking for that exact Ritchey tube or are you going for the cheapest they have (as it's currently on offer) or are you looking for the lightest available?

I'd have thought that a lightweight tube designed for a max width of 1.7" would be a bit fragile when stretched into a 2.0" tyre.

There's plenty of correctly-sized presta alternatives on CRC, just maybe not so cheap or lightweight.

Personally, I have no problem carrying an undersized tube as a 'get you home' spare but would pick the right size for everyday use.

Or try another dealer - Wiggle usually have Specialized ones in stock of the right size. 1.5"-1.7" tubes are not really suitable for 2.0" tyres.
