Social Ride 15th March - Afan Forrest
Discussion
Weather permitting - current forecasts are dry - my group will be heading to Afan Forrest to do the ride as described in this thread http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0... .
The only caveated being that if the weather turns out to be pony again we won't be going.

Was a very good ride and to have a loop back from the bottom of Windy Point to the base of the black and thus the top of the black is good.
The ground was indeed grippy so it really was ace although a little wet but the worst came down as we had some food at the Drop Off Cafe.
Would like to the double loops and then maybe do the Skyline to Granada take the July short cut and do the final descent back to Cafe.

Yeah, sounds good route - I'll try not to leave my lock-out on this time..
Sorted the Scott (for Monday) and the S-Ws (for Easter Weekend) today. The Stiffee is partially stripped down to - will finish it during the GP. I fancy a Box Hill ride on Good Friday if you fancy joining me (I'll let Pete and Peepay know too).
Will see if I can find the time to photo the Mong-One later. Does look very good.
