ive been using my hardrock for a while now with no upgrades
ive got into dirt jumping and following a week of learing from mates my bike now has a mullered
rear wheel, headset and gears.

will my standard rear wheels be good enough for dirt jumping if i get them trued or do i need to get stronger ones?
and
im guessing i will need a stronger headset and stem?

yes, you need strong wheels, and bars/stem.

worth considering gettin a jump bike in the future,

Becareful, jumping is not the hard bit, landing smooth is the real trick.

Good luck, have fun.

I got a Hope headset and a Thomson Stem on my Hardrock - both very tough.

Try here for cheap(er) Thomson stuff http://www.aspirevelotech.com
