I haven't ridden the bike since the end of November (due to breaking loads of bits and the following weather).

Anyhow yesterday I did a 23 mile ride, and the saddle soreness is back!

Amazing how quickly it catches up! Think I'll wait a day before going back out smile

POD,

Do you ride a Claud Butler? If so, I think I might have seen you the other day whilst I was out walking my dog.

Ahh the good old fashioned arse pounding!

SDG BelAir is the saddle of choice though.

I have to agree though. Hadn't cycled any distance for ages until 2 weeks back.

I went to the New Forest with my girlfriend.

Was John Wayning it in the morning (<- So was the missus).

Cycle shorts with padded bit will relieve your discomfort in the future.
I always use them if I'm doing more than 5 miles, really notice if I don't.
if it's cold, wear them under your trousers.
Your arse will thank you!
