I no longer have a TVR but I live near Chatsworth. I might mountain bike to it instead to hang out with the TVRs for the annual meet. there is a great ride from the centre of Bakewell to Chatsworth (and back to Bakewell). About a 2hr, 20ish KM ride, reasonably hard ride. The run down the hill in front of the house is great fun - loads of great jumps (and sheep and walkers). Is this a bit sad?!

Gazzab - I've often wondered if there were any proper MTB worthy trails around Chatsworth (I.E. not gravel paths) - could you be so kind as to perhaps show me some pointers on a map? I guyss your local (Chesterfield?) I'm always on the lookout for people to ride with in the Peaks and stuff.

Is there many of us in the area?

Not on TVR day no, I'll be there for sure. Perhaps a chance to say Hello to some of you.

Shall we have a Peaks riders post?

ETA Madbadger I think I've actually spoke to you a couple of times before on various hoons - Black (usually filthy, and late biggrin ) Tamora...?

I'm in Curbar at the very top of the village close to the edge (trying not to lose my head).

I have a map at home with the route on , I even have a PDF of the ride. If you PM me....

There is also a ride from Curbar, through Carver, to near Chatsworth Farm shop, back to Baslow and back up to Baslow Edge.
