After a MB £200 - £250 to spend

Hi

I am after a mountain bike to help me get fit.

I have between £200 and £250 to spend as this will be my first bike and don't want to spend too much just in case its a passing phase

Was thinking about a Carerra Vulcan from Halfords

Carrera or GT are reasonably good value for money. Or You can get a 2007 Giant Yukon at £229 from

It is probably a good idea to buy a saddle bag & toolkit (Multitool, tirelevers, patches, spare tube) as well

I have just bought a bike with a view to getting fit aswell.

I bought a 2008 GT Outpost and am very pleased with it. Aluminium frame, disc brakes, front suspension etc. all for £250.

Just a thought...
