is delemere forest worth a visit?

was thinking of giving it a whirl on thursday but it seems the forestry commission have removed some of the tracks there :-( anyone been recently?

any alternative's i can get to in half an hourish from mancunia? looking for a nice downhill trail but don't mind riding to the top,

i do have a van for uplifts tho ;-)
