CANCELLED!

Just heard from Cwmdown that CwmCarn has been shut due to bad weather.

So if anyone is tempted to go... you can't frown

If I don't speak to you Andy, I've booked my uplift, as has my mate Lee (you met him - has the other Supreme)...

Looking forward to it!

I would have come if I had more bottle/skill and wasn't already planning to be away a few weekends later. Perhaps you guys could join us at Afan?

I've not ridden cwmcarn's downhill but its been made so that beginners and experts can both enjoy it. IE its got big jumps but you can roll them or go around.

Pop along if you're free smile

I did the DH course at CC the other week for the first time and loved it! Like you I was a little apprehensive and had been putting it off for the last couple of visits to CC. So glad I went for it as it was no where near as scary as I imagined. Ok, it's pretty technical in places with a number of drop-offs but as long as you keep rolling, the bike will ride them out smile

I would join you guys, but my ankle's still in a bad way after spraining it last week (not at CC I might add!) and I'm still under going physio to get it back to shape.

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't like to be out on my bike down here at the moment, it's been hammering down for pretty much the entire week and it doesn't show much sign of stopping!
