Roadies I know use Look pedals, but i've just bought some flats and toe clips for my OH's bike, they're fairly lightweight - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?Cat=cyc... & http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?Cat=cyc...

Merlin are doing some discounts on lights atm, again though, i've recently bought 2 sets of these for the OH and I to commute with, they're very good. - http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/?fn=product&prod...

LBS should have cages and straps or may even have some cheap 'n' cheerful whole pedals stripped from new bikes bought be people who want more upmarket ones.

Looks like you got yourself a good little ebay bargain there. I think it's an 07 bike, though it looks like the front fork has been changed (based on looking at googled images).

LBS shop will sort you out with some cheap toe clip pedals.

cheers for the responses guys...i'l hit my local shop for some pedals tomoro :-)

love the bike....first time i've ever ridden a roadie and my last bike was a 12 inch hardtail mtb with 150mm forks and 2.7 super tackies so this feels super quick and efficient.

off the decathalon to get some waterproofs. got SOAKED to the bone on way home from work in pouring rain yesterday :-)
