We got about 100cm of snow here in Vienna last week so a mate and I decided to see what it was like in the snow....

.....it took us about 3 hours to get up a hill that would normal take just 20 minutes! Going down was fun though! biggrin

I thought this was kind of cool....

Stuck....again...

Finally got going down the hill!

We had to give up and push for about 3km....

Hands up

I've done this in my local park, what was very odd to see was guys on snow boards heading down the hill as i struggled to up it LOL

Really good fun but not for the faint hearted!

Ah good old uni days...

I spent a really hard winter out in Sweden. The snow was so much fun. When it had been packed down it was so grippy.

For commuting I used studded tyres and the grip on even sheet ice was amazing.

Its a shame we dont get lots of real snow in the UK........
