Ski Bikes

Ok not pedal powered - but I'm going to St Foy in the Alps in Feb and wondered if anybody has tried a Ski Bike.

Not tried ski bikes...but Sainte Foy is my favourite place on earth. I'll be there again at the end of Jan with the family...can't wait. I've been watching the webcams everyday...some snow, but not oodles yet... webcam

It's only November - people would have sold their children for that much snow this time last year

Sorry - digressing - they look like fun. I've also seen people with conventional wheeled bike fitted with massively oversized, spiked tyres. IIRC one of the mags did a downhiller Vs Boarder comparision on a boardercross course a few seasons back.
