I'm falling apart!

Don't suppose there are any physio type people on here?
I've now reached the grand old age of 24 and for a few years I've had the occasional twinge in one of my hips, but only under certain circumstances (skiing seems to do it, think it might be if I put in a bad turn and twist a little....)
Anyway, recently it's started happening much more generally and now when I ride my bike too. It feels weird after I've finished a ride - basically stiff and achy (out of all proportion to a quick training blast.....) It's not stopping me doing anything currently, but it seems to have worsened quite rapidly and I'm a bit worried what it might develop into.
It only manifests itself after excercise currently so I don't really feel justified in going to the doctor. Can anyone suggest anything that might be the cause and any possible remedies?
Hoping to book this years ski holiday soon and I'm quite worried I might spend all of it hobbling around the hotel bar.
(I mean that in a bad way....)

I used to get this a bit but do not any more, sounds like impingement of the sciatic nerve to me, you may have something out of allignment that can be gently manipulated back in to position. i recommend seeing a sports physio, to be correctly assessed and start work on solving the problem.
