This appears good value as I need a new b bracket anyway.

Where / what should I measure to get the right one? Bikes a spec XC FSR 06

It will fit. They're pretty much the same size on all bikes nowadays. I don't know of any 'off the shelf' Spesh's that don't run the standard shell.

The bb 'shell' measurement is the length of the frame tube measured perpendicular (ie left to right) to the frame from outer face to outer face.

The only note you need to take is what the 'Chainline' measurement is. It is just a case of putting the supplied washers in the right place when putting the bb in. As you strip out the old BB note how many washers are on which side.

Finally, make sure you get the bb shell in the frame faced up (if it is not already done) else the bearings won't seat squarely to each other.
