Just moved to Plymouth and am desperate to get out riding again!

Anyone know of any XC routes in the Plymouth/Cornwall area?

Thanks

Matt.

Don't know anywhere in Plymouth, but there is a fair bit around Dartmoor.

You could try popping in to Certini in Saltash.

Let me know if you are ever down as far as Bodmin or Truro etc.

Haldon Forest near Exeter off the A38 is worth checking out and not to far from you, i ride up there a lot, there is allsorts up there and good food hut at the weekend.

A lot of good rides on Dartmoor, and the Quantocks in somerset, as well.

Can you not ride in Newnham park ? Have ridden in races there, fab course. Great single track descents.

IIRC this is private land and is normally used for pheasant & deer hunting.

Does anyone know the Quantocks? I'd quite like to ride up there sometime soon and could do with tagging along with someone with some local knowledge....

I was told yesterday that there is some good riding around Gunnislake.
