I don't think there is any bike that I dream for right now but then I am very fortunate and have what I beleive to be three cracking bikes and three I want. One I haven't ridden yet so I reserve the right for it not to be cracking post 1st ride smile

I guess the only thing I might dream of is some better components here and there but nothing major.

But prior to getting the three, two of them I did want prior to purchase so I guess a dream fullfilled.

That merc bike looks like an exercise bike that can actually be used outside a gym.

For me it was a cove stiffee FR and now i own one, i am very happy.

tried a cove Hummer Ti, this is now my dream bike, it is pricey though, so i have just bought a cove handjob xc frame to build as a lighter all day xc bike.

Untill i get a hummer one day, or a hustler.

Cove Addict.

Cotic looks cool though.

I think for me, at the moment: A Lapierre Zesty - as piloted by many frenchies at MegaAvalanche, and most notably Nico Voulliez.

Mind you, having bounced my way through a rock garden today, and realised just why we have Freeride bikes as well as All-mountain rigs, I'm in a longer travel mood, and the Intense Socom fits my dream bill nicely at the moment:

One day biggrin

That Lapierre is a sexy mofo, but Litespeed bikes have always given me a bit of a chubby*, especially the Niota Ti.

*Sat watching Talladega Nights hence the word chubby being used. Good stupid film

A built up example of the entire Cove range.

I've had two so far. Third one to come (albeit heavily revised for 2008!).

If I won the jackpot on the lottery, after purchasing a two bed cottage with a five car garage I would be straight on the phone to Silverfish. Then choose the two cars I want. Ok, buy the RS4 Avant and a standard mk1 GTi, and a modified one. Oh then there's Ariel Atom. Oh and the Jetta for everyday stuff.

Balls, right. Won the Lottery - check. Buy a plot of land to build a two bed cottage - check. Build a two bed cottage with a ten car garage - check.

Didn't Porsche once foray into the Mountain Bike market? I remember seeing adverts for them about 10 or so years ago. I recall they were bloody expensive and did not look too nice (a bit like the Merc really)

Neil's nicked my Socom idea irked

Knowing us we'll both get one in the new year though. Mine will be pimped with XTR, DT Swiss wheels, Thomson goodies and probably a 08 888 worldcup fork.

Lapierre are damn cool. Can see them being the next 'Commencal' and be pretty huge in this country within the next few years. Having Nico on their books is a sure fire winner. Just a shame their DH bike is so minging imo.

I am with you on that one definatly.

what is going to be your third Cove, and how is it revised for 08?

I am a 2 cove owner, and likely to get another one soon, hence the question.

I have a Stiffee FR. I had a Handjob XC but that ended up under a Fabia after my friends roof rack came adrift at 80mph.

My third is going to be a Hustler although Cove have substantially revised it for '08. So I am going to wait for a few reviews before taking the plunge.

I'd also like a top end carbon Bianchi road bike too please - Hopefully getting one of the lower end Ali framed Bianchi bikes as my Xmas present to myself cloud9

A couple of my riding buddies have Nomads and they are fab pieces of kit. I actually prefer my Blur though as it seems a little more "loose" and "darty" in the front end.

MTB'ing is all new to me so I'm watching (read catching up)all the Ride Guide Mountain Bike shows on Extreme Sports Channel and subsequently I've got the horn for the NORCO downhill bikes.

There's only going to be 21 of these made at three and a half grand a go.

I want one. Very much.
