Now I have my new Dual Air Rebas fitted I think I need a shock pump. Ideally I'd like one that does tyres too so any suggestions would be much appreciated..

Cheers.

Did you not get one with the fork?

Doubt you'll find a pump that will do both shock and tyres - tyre pumps are high volume, low pressure and shock pumps are low volume, high pressure.

There is one: Our friend Karie has one, but I can't remember what make.

I've a funny feeling it's a Specialised.

Give us five minutes and I'll get back to you...

Oh right. I guess it would have some kind of switch that would restrict the bore internally for shock use?

Probably cheaper to get one of each but I can see the advantage of having a mini-pump that would do both and be small enough to sling in a camelbak.

Yup I have one. Specialized it is, it's ok. It's better for pumping up the shock than the tyres, but for trail use it's fine. The only real niggle is the adapter for the tyres is a bit rubbish, but it's a compromise and better than carrying two pumps. You can't dispense with the track pump at home, that's for sure........

Why would you take your shock pump with you on the trails?

It doesn't happen often, but seals do fail on shocks which means all the air can leak out, also you may want to tune the shock whilst out on the trail. You won't need it often, but if it doubles as your normal pump it's a small plus.

na didn't come with one. Thought it might but as someone on here mentioned before, the Reba SL100's are usually OEM fit or something like that, kinda like the difference between Retail and OEM in computing - you miss out on some of the bits for a lower price.

I'll look into the specialised one....cheers folks.

Because you may wish to fetel with the dampening so getting the best out of your £400+ forks? Or maybe the terrain your going over varies over the ride so much you may want to change up the pressures in the fork?

I dont know i leave mine in the car but i always take it just incase?
