Pretty much throwaway kit at those prices. Good value if you could see a full winter out of them.

I popped in tonight thinking i'd get a jacket and a skull cap thingy. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and came away with a jersy, two jackets, some socks and the skull cap i wanted for £40, none of it is lightweight stuff, but for getting sh!t up while keeping me moderately warm I think it'll do the job nicely.

A mate of mine always get his stuff from there and it lasts him several years. We give him stick but as he says his stuff lasts aslong as mine only a fraction of the price. eek

I bought a windproof jacket which is pretty decent and a very reasonable £15.

Why is it that people are such snobs when it comes to Lidl and Aldi? I find it is much better quality and better value than any of the other supermarkets.

It doesn't help that they are marketed towards the lower end of the market and they don't have a very wide choice, it's 9p Aldi beans or nothing for instance.

I know some of the stuff is cheap, but it's not that bad quality. I think it really makes more sense to shop there, extra money seems to be wasted in other supermarkets just because it is branded. Although I must agree on the beans, their cheapo ones aren't that nice.
