Hi, can anyone advise on this question please?

I've just taken delivery of a RockShox Reba Team Fork (with Poplock) 2007 - 100mm travel. I was originally planning to fit it to a 'winter' bike I'm building up (based around a 2006 Stumpjumper hardtail frame).

However, it looks rather good and appears to boasts a lot of tunability, so I'm wondering whether I should fit it to my main bike (a Giant Anthem) instead. The Anthem is currently fitted with a Fox 90 RL.

Which is thought to be the better fork? I'll fit the better fork to the Anthem as it is my main bike and fit the second best to the Stumpjumper.

Use: Anthem - Mixture of cross country (e.g. Surrey Hills) and mountain rides (Scotland & Lake District being the main areas). Stumpjumper HT (winter bike) - Surrey Hills & some road / hill climb sessions. Anthem more likely to be hitting big rocks etc at speed.

Other Factors: The Anthem has a Fox RP23 rear shock.

Thanks,
Ian

I'm gonna say the Rebas...purely because I've just bought some...I may be biased though smile

Thanks Rich. Good choice of fork! Looks a very nicely finished piece of kit, I'm looking forward to trying them out.

I've had my Rebas for 10 months now and they're still getting better every ride!

Thanks for the feedbackk,

I'm thinking I'll get the bike shop to cut the steerer on the Rebas down to the same length as the fox forks - I know this length is a good fit for both bikes, so I can try it in the Anthem and still keep the option to swap the forks round if it turns out the Fox shock is a better fit for whatever reason (e.g. works better with the RP23 rear shock).

I run my Reabas with a PUSH'd Float R at the back.

The Rebas have enough adjustment (not that I've bothered since the initial set-up!) to tune them how you like to match the rear.
