Well I have done it, I have moved from Surrey to Derbyshire. Move into the new house this weekend in Curbar near Chesterfield, Sheffield, Bakewell, Matlock...
Cant wait to try out the local trails. Hoping to see if a local bike shop might take me out on a ride. In fact I see a local shop sells Whyte bikes yum.
The terrain looks awesome.
Should be fun exploring.

Joolz - off road only for me!! Only 10 miles from Chesterfield (I drive to Chesterfield station everyday)
Medium fitness, medium extremeness, just hit 40 and only been biking for a year and a half. I fancy doing a couple of rides a week eg Sunday morning for a couple of hrs plus one lateish evening ride (in the dark) in the week.

Maybe we should hit the trails then sometime soon? You can talk me into the virtues of getting a 4th TVR and I can tell you how brilliant Andy at APM is !

Thought I recognised the name, I sent you some routes on a disc several months ago.

The ones out of Bakewell are great ones to start with. Some great climbs and descents and can vary from 2 - 4 hours.

Would love to join you on a few rides but 3 kids youngest 8 months is keeping me busy and I need to train for a 10k in December.

Keep us informed on Pedal Powered when you are riding and you might get a few takers.
