Dunno if it's repeated (do the BBC do online repeats?) it was impressive to see 2 hours of mountain biking on the beeb though :tumpub:

It's getting dark so much earlier now and we've only just reached September, I think I need to buy some lights!

It was rather pants, as always, making the riding look like they were hopping off kerbs and doing it at about 11mph...

I'd wait for the ever good Earthed DVD's for your race coverage biggrin

Don't know if it's repeated on BBC, doubt it. the full DH and 4X is available on Video on demand on www.MTBcut.tv for the next week though.

True, the camera work wasn't exactly inspiring, but I thought it was impressive they set aside 2 hours of air time for it.

I've never seen especially impressive footage from Fort Bill shot by anyone though, the continental courses seem more dramatic. I gather the riders like it, so I guess it's just the TV coverage.

Cheers for that, looked good, shame its not better quality but atleast you can get hold of the racing somewhere.....

One gripe i've got is whoever edited the filming didnt really think of what they were showing. At one point the presenters announce who won one of the 4x race stages etc and go onto talk about crashes in the race at that moment a replay clip comes on of the winner going under the banner..... who gives a monkeys... i want to see a detailed review of the crash etc in the race. It felt like i was watching the olympics aimed at people who dont really know what was going on.... same with all specailist shows i suppose but as someone suggested the DVD will no doubt be better

Ah! It actually worked! Got my bike out last night for the first time in too long and went for a rather time, but longer than average ride.

Saw the most gorgeous AC Cobra (replica I presume) outside one of the pubs en route. It was a blue 427 SC, just like I had a model of as a kid cloud9

Ok, I digress a bit.
