Cwmcarns grinding paste mud has nearly killed another set of brakes - Gawd I can't wait for a bit of a dry summer to start!

Run Avid Juicy 5's at the mo, and have no complaints. Have also been running EBC pads when they've been available, but seem to recently have been like honourable politicians. Are these still being made, and anyone know where some are in stock (not just advertised like most places do, then let you down)

Any other brands of pads worth a look? Standard ones are ok.

Where is the cheapest place to buy pads? Best retailers / fleabay etc? Might buy a "small bulk" pack if the price is right somewhere.

Look up 'A2Z' pads, they are very, very good and good value.

Available on Ebay and certain retailers.

Lucky you - the pads in my J5 died on the first part of the descent on Sunday @ Cwm Carn - came the rest of the way down on rear V-brake and metal-on-metal at the front... you probably heard me coming a mile off!

Can't seem to source EBC pads for Juicys at the moment. My LBS has Avid OE pads or Aztec copies @ £15 a set.
