...and now I'm getting the bike out. Due to lack of storage at uni my bike hasn't really been touched for two years, but now I need to use it as daily transport. I have two options really, I can take it to a shop and get it serviced, or I can do it myself. How much is the former likely to be, and how much hassle is the last option? I was thinking along the lines of stripping the gearing (and perhaps the suspension?) but I've no idea whether I'm capable! Anybody have a list of what you do to a bike after hibernation? Apologies for the rambling post hehe

No Excuse! At Uni I have 2 bikes with me at all times.

In halls it was hilarious, one slid under the bed and one was on the desk, behind the PC and telly.
