My Freeview went to sh*t just before the start of the sprint mad.

Saw a replay though. He is annoyingly quick.

Yeah I went up to watch the prologue with a couple of friends, had a great day, brilliant atmosphere, lovely weather, good beer and a unique chance to see the world's greatest bike racers up close. Today at 11.30am the tour went past my house, won't be another weekend like that for a while...

Yep, and the stage today. Two cracking days of racing. Already regretting not being in France this year to watch more stages. Stage pics today are from Goudhurst, who put on a splendid festive welcoming day for spectators and riders.

These are at Ashford.

Went for a short ride after, the Adrenaline was still running and the hills I normally have to take in the little ring I went up on the big'un.

The three man break.

Then the bunch.

I'm off to Verbier Mountaing biking in 5 hours so haven't got enough time to look through them all fixdwheelnut. Recognised a few faces at Brenchley. Catch on the road one day!

Did you have your camera strapped to a lampost operated by a remote cable?

One of the guys at work said he saw someone at Goudhurst doing that smile

Mersey roads next weekend eek I'm gonna suffer

Fixedwheelnut, that wasn't me. I climbed the bank which gave me 7-8ft above the road, then leant/climbed into a tree gaining another 4-5 ft, held the camera at arms lenght to clear some branches and fired away. For the Prologue I used a 3ft step laddder from work. Could of made a fortune selling them on the day. I think I let 4 other people with cameras use them!
