I have a compact frame Marin Sirrus which I want to commute with in Central London. Issue is getting a bike lock to fit a such a frame that will have the staying power to resist people with itchy fingers and shifty expressions.

Any recommendations??

What's the issue, locking the bike up or attaching the lock to the frame for transport?

I had both issues with my bike (Trek FX 7.3), had to have the lock parallel to the frame, its un-nervingly close to my left leg now.

I got the bike data tagged at Waterloo on Friday (for free!), and they suggested having two decent locks - front and back (although if you've got a quick release front, detach it and lock it up with the rear).

And don't scrimp on the lock, although thats a little obvious ....
