Coed-y-Brenin, as we're staying in Barmouth for the weekend, not sure what day yet, but taking my 7yr old.
First "proper" run out for my new Orange P7.
I used to have a rigid P7, and still miss it even now First "proper" run out for my new Orange P7.

Sold mine to a mate, and the lst I knew he was using it on his post round! Might see if he's still got it and hasn't abused it, and try and get it back

Orange = Morgan? One is made in Worcestershire out of wood, the other is made in Yorkshire out of spare girders from the old steel works! ;-)
I think Orange are a bit more utilitarian, so Land Rover would be a more fair comparison, but they are brilliant (i've got an '04 Patriot which will go a lot of places I won't)
As for riding, Swinley Forest for me on Sunday and Monday as I managed to crack a rib at Llandegla on Tuesday night and I need to take things steady.

I think the analogy was more "vintage" and "made in Britain" than anything else.I think Orange are a bit more utilitarian, so Land Rover would be a more fair comparison, but they are brilliant (i've got an '04 Patriot which will go a lot of places I won't)

Llandegla is my local ride, being it's only 20mins up the road from me.....how lucky am I?
Came back cold and wet after a ride around Forest of Dean. What made me want to post was the talk of old Orange bikes, kinda like this one

Still on original Suntour XC Pro levers, canti's and shifters. Everything else has been replaced over time. Still works like a dream and each shop I take it into gets the mechanics looking over it, lifting it and commenting how nice it is. I have however been looking at other bikes as this is really a commuter now but I can't consider front and rear susser, front is enough for now!
