Forks - Leaking or not?
Discussion
I have just bought some Marzocchi All Mountain 3s from CRC.
When I opened the box, I noticed they had leaked some oil, doesnt look like loads but enough to leave a stain in the box and make the crown all oily.
The oil has leaked from the adjuster on left leg on the top of the crown. It looks like a silver shrader valve and it looks like it has leaked through the valve (though I cant rule out it having leaked around the adjuster.
It doesnt seem to be leaking any more and I can hear oil inside the forks moving around so its not all leaked out.
Is this something bad or can forks sometimes loose oil in transit? Also, if its ok, will using them with less oil in cause any damage?

Give CRC a call and see what they say.
However thinking on how Marzocchis 'used' to work (not entirely hot on the newer internals) they were an open bath oil fork - meaning they used oil to lubricate the seals, and this may be the reason that you are seeing the oil - having been left on their sides for a while, you may expect some seepage.
Like I said, give CRC a call, I'm sure they'll happily advise you.
