Hi all, I've been getting back in the saddle and think its time I upgraded my Marin, I want a decent hardtail for about £700, does anyone know of any good shops in Essex that I can go and get some good advice and that has decent stock?

If anyone has any advice on what to look for would be good thumbup

Bike Trax in Brentwood are great. They carry S-works, trek, various top makes.

Chelmer Cycles in Chelmsford have a reputation for being good, but at a price! My experience of them backs that up. Nice bunch of guys though.

Everyone I know says the same thing. Tiny shop with a new subaru outside is a clue. They like to replace bits rather than repair

Well, I went to Biketrax in Brentwood, real good bunch of guys and they did me a good deal on this

Been out on it a few times and I couldn't believe the difference from a hardtail, the reason I went for this is I want to do some trails this year and I think a full susser will be better for me once I get the hang of it?

I've got one like that. Mine's an 06 model Pro, and it's a really nice bike. Good work!
