Mooted this a while ago an then the weather got all grim over the winter so...

Never ridden in a group before but struggle a bit with motivation sometimes so I thought getting a few people to go for a ride might be fun. My pref is for roads / cycle paths etc as oppose to proper off road.

Based in North London.

Anyone want to try to arrange something?

And for the record, longest ride I can do at the moment is about 15-20 miles I guess and I am a tad slow, but it gives people someone to laugh at, which is always a plus!

I'd be up for it- any particular route in mind?
I'm over Blackheath way.

Maybe the canal - apparently there is a good route along there?

Sod that, get yerself up to Epping forest (an easy run up the M11) and there are at least 2-3 out here who'll be up for a ride!

Last one to the pub pays for the round. What more motivation do you need? hehe

Wouldn't worry about slowing us down, the PHer's I've ridden with are less fit than I am - and thats saying something!!! hehe

Sounds good. If anyone collapses of exhaustion on the ride, can we go back and steal their wallet so they can still stump up for their round or is that viewed as a tad harsh?! One weekend I assume? Any pref for days?

Literally just got in from a ride around epping forest!
Very good fun, nice mix of climbs and fastish descents.
I was intending on going back there next weekend if anyone else is up for it?

Got a good mates "welcome to London bbq" on Saturday, so Sunday is my only option.
I guess if I miss out I miss out!

Bump!

Can maybe go out and play on Sunday afternoon, or should have my new toy for the following weekend.

Anyone?
