Hi all, never ventured in here before but I've started getting out on my bike again now spring is here. Mechanically it's in good nick but the paint has suffered a bit from scratches.

I was wondering if it's possible to get touch up paint for bikes (or is that not the done thing? boxedin

It's a Specialized if that's any help!

Cheers.

For little chips you can usually find a car touch up stick that is close enough match.

Alot of bicycle companies have stopped doing touch up paint due to costs and environmental concerns, so as above, use automotive or even fingernail polish can work in a pinch.

Alternatively, just leave the scratches as it shows you're actually using the bike?

I tend to prefer a sticker to cover battle scars, or just leave it if it's an ali frame.

Road bikes are meant to be all shiny and mint, but mountain bikes are no worse for having the odd scar to prove it's seen some action.

Doesn't stop you autoglyming it to within an inch of its life too though.
