Where to this weekend then peeps?

Got a busy weekend this weekend, so it looks like my only chance for a ride will be tomorrow morning before I go away for the rest of the weekend.

Weather doesn't look too special unfortunately, so I think I will take in a circuit that is mainly road, but slogs up and over 5 or 6 miles of the ridgeway near White Horse Hill at Uffington (for those who know where I mean)

Good news is that this weekend is clock changing weekend if I'm not mistaken .... Sunny evening rides here we come

I would go on a proper ride but now it's like fcking winter again! So I just rode to Sainsbury's to get some bits and then back home again.

Tell me about it. I'm riding to work at the moment and at 7am it it effing freezing. Nice that the clocks have gone foward. I can take the long way home and hopefully get my endurance up again.

Out in the local woods, yesterday and today with my 6yr old son. Nice and muddy from some recent snow. Blasting along a trail that we know well, I was watching my son ahead of me, when at the last minute I saw a branch overhanging the trail at head-height. Too late to stop, just time to duck down as the branch smacked into my helmet !

Helmet is nicely cracked now, lucky it wasn't my head. But an exhilarating weekend, none the less.

Got home from work at the usual time (just after 6), and still had time to hammer round my local 15 mile road route before it was getting dark.

Weather was warm, and the roads were clear. Summer has started .... loads of midges and flys about though
