Anyone ridden in Trent Park (north london/herts/middx area)?

Hi,

Has anyone ridden in Trent Park?

Went for a walk there the other day and far off the beaten track where most of the dog walkers don't get to I found what looked like some half decent XC singletrack. On the way back a bloke on a specialized enduro and another on an ornage patriot went past.

Spending an increasing amount of time in the area as my girlfriend lives in Enfield and I thought this was gonna pretty much mean the end of my regular MTBing, but looks like there could be some trails within reasonable riding distance! All I need now is a garage and I'm set to move in

Is that Trent Park near to Cockfosters Underground Stn. In my younger days it was a home for training nurses and consequently attracted lads from miles around. Has it changed?

Yeah I used to live in the halls in Middlesex Uni there a couple of years back, used to walk through the park everyday, a great place. LOL, the nurses are now based on other campuses tho!

I used to cycle round the park quite a bit, there is nothing really challenging or hardcore, but is a nice place for an easy ride. One thing to note is that it gets quite popular throughout the day, esp sundays and people can really get in your way. Might be better to head up there early morning or late evening.

I used to ride up round Hadley Wood after and just gawp at the massive houses.
