Here is my new road bike. its the first i have ever owned and just love the look and feel of it. yet to ride her as its now dark but had a go on the turbo trainer in the shop and was set up for it. just magic. Cant wait until tomorrow now to get out on her, oh and try these SPDs out for size too.
Anyway, here she is, a 2007 Wilier(pronounced Vilier) 10 speed compact groupset(whatever that is).

Please excuse the dodgy rug, i havent got any carpet in yet.

No carpets, don't worry, you've obviously got your priorities right.

Nice piece of kit, enjoy it.

Yeah could have carpeted the whole house for the cost of this bike. who needs carpet when you have machinery like this.
Thanks for the praise.

Stunning, totally agree with the carpets comment, you very definitely have your priorities down to a tee!

wow, i have just been for my first spin on it. only around my village just to get used to the bike and pedals but what a machine. I was freewheeling down a tiny hill and already doing 22mph. Its going to be great on the open road. thats tomorrow!!

Oo I soooooo want a road bike. Fancy some 7am Sunday morning rides now that it's sunny again.

Need to save up again now, though. My dad won't buy me another bike haha.

Do it, buy a frame and build your own from eBay. the freedom on one is just great. all this from a ride around the village too.
Seriously, i have been scouring ebay for a couple of weeks and the bits and bobs avaliable are brilliant.

Be careful when building up a machine. Stick to either Campag or ShimaNo and make sure items are compatable.

Nothing like new bike day, it lloks a peach! I am doing more and more road riding since the purchase of my 06 giant TCR. The mountain bike is just used only for enduros.
