Noticed some of the ferous based nuts and bolts showing a bit of rust the other day, and found this site.

Too expensive for me to justify, but I'm sure you'll all still enjoy looking and pricing up what Ti bolts you could add to your steed.

I just bought some replacement brake rotor bolts on Monday to replace the one I fudged at the weekend. Glad I did else I know I would have ended up paying £35 and not £3.

I bought Aluminium and Titty fasteners (Pogopolini)for my Santa Cruz Superlight. Cost was about £170 for a 100g weight saving......yikes

I am very wary of these aftermarket Ti bolts. Unless they have rolled thread, heat treat if req. then i would not consider them.

I have no problem keeping my hands in my pockets when it comes to this stuff - I'd much rather carry a few extra grammes and suffer a bit of tarnishing that chance a failure due to the replacement not being suitable.

Beware of replacing steel fixings with Titanium or Stainless Steel. An stress fracture just waiting to happen.

Surely the rust is making the bolts lighter anyway?

Thats a good thing!
