So yesterday nearly crushed by two different busses, both indicating and pulling over without checking their mirrors whilst I happen to be inconveniently in the way. Both hooted at me, both gesticulated and one called me a f'ing idiot (twice, once I had asked him to repeat himself). At the end of the day indicating confers no 'right' to move over, it is just an indication.

Is it just me? Should I bother reporting it just to get a generic apology reply?

Bus drivers do this to vans, cars, lorrys and motorbikes as well. You are unfortunately the most vulnerable however.

Was this at a bus stop?

I have been nearly killed, and I'm not exaggerating, by a bus. I got the number, the reg plate, and stopped a bus from the same company coming the other way up the road, in order to get their phone number.

I phoned them up and told the supervisor what had happened, you could tell by the tone of his voice that he wasn't surprised. He told me he'd had problems with this driver before, and gave me the option of a bollocking, or an official complaint. I went down the bollocking route.

Any time a bus gives you shit, or a van with writing on the side, make sure you get the details and complain - especially when they're local businesses.

It was on the approach to a stop, yes. However in incident number 1 the bus half overtook me and then pulled in (when he should have just waited behind me for 2 seconds) and the second was when the bus moved away from traffic lights with me alongside and then pulled over.

I'm just grateful when they have the engine at the front....I hate the "whispering death" low floor buses
