Anyone else braving the welsh wind and rain tomorrow?

I'll be there with my filthy Passat festering in the car park.

Is it supposed to be nasty weather? I'll get out on my bike sometime this weekend and was thinking of a jaunt over the bridge into Dragon-land.

Yeah. I looked at the forecast earlier on. It doesn't look the greatest. Can't wait for this climate change to kick in properly

Typical luck. Lovely weather most of the week while I'm trapped at my desk, then biblical rain storms when I want to get my bike out .... Skin's waterproof at least.

I'd love to be going. Blooming rocks that place. Alas I'm not weeping

Saturday was great!

Weather was a little wet (with hail at the top of the hill, just when you are most exposed), but the sun was nice and warm.

Trashed a set of brake pads on the front ..... I like to think it's because I'm just sooooo fast, but really it's probably because I weigh too much and drag the brakes like a girl

Hopefully all the bits will be here to fix it friday for a ride on Saturday.

Sounds wicked. I did no riding this weekend. Saturday was dry but the ground was still waterlogged around here and there's no way I'm getting a shiney bike muddy! hehe

Who do you use for parts? Only mentioning as if you use www.chainreactioncycles.com they deliver next day for free. They've never let me or my mates down so worth a shot. Sadly not affiliated to them, just a happy customer. Cheap too!

I live near Swindon, so pop into Red Planet Mountain Bikes for some stuff. If they don't have it, they will order it in, and leave a voice mail when it's there. They are very friendly for advise and stuff too, plus the coffee is nice

Also, I use Wiggle and Stif on the net, and both offer free standard delivery. Their prices tend to be good too.

I've not used chain reaction, but will have to have a look there. Next day delivery is a bonus if it's free, however it will still result in a trip to the courier if they come at the wrong time of day.

Chain Reaction use Royal Mail for normal stuff, so not too bad if you live near a depot.

Infact... found out my local bike shop order most of their stock from CRC and add on their profit. Cheeky scamps!
