Thinking of selling my bike. I'll take it to a shop and get a quote but that'll be with them being able to make a mark up on it.

So for the people out there in the no, I'll give some details of my bike and a few pictures and If anyone could give me a ball park figure that would be great.

Thinking of maybe, maybe going full suspension and I don't really ride my Jekyll any more.

So here goes;

Dr.Jekyll frame with ADS, 2003 Zocchi Bombers Z1 Freeride SL's (air air air and more air), Hope Mono Mini front (recently blead) mounted to a Hope hub and Mono M4 rear mounted to a trusty XT hub (bakc wheel not to long built).

Holzfeller cranks (not very old) attached to some Azonic X frame pedal things (new), single speed Blackspire 42 tooth setup to what ever it was at the back, can't quite recall.

Profile Bars and Yeti lock-on grips, Nokian Gazza's front and rear mated with a Sun rim and a 729 Disc.

Basicly it's in quite good nick, and the newer stuff is in very good nick as I just don't ride it anywhere near as much as I used to. The frame and forks are the oldest things on the bike. A lot of it I have added over the past year but yet not rode as much as I used to so a lot of it is in good nick

Just tart it up and put it on e-bay.The price of stuff is crazy at the moment. It will give you a good deal more than an LBS will.Strange you have a 4 pot rear brake and a 2 pot front.

The last bike shop I worked in, would not buy a bike in for resale, far too many stolen bikes around for it to be a safe or sensible investment for them. To get a quote, most shops charge, because it is effectively the same as a quote for insurance.

ebay is the best way forward in my opinion.

Clean it, polish it, photograph it (well), record more detail on what parts it has fitted (use a MBUK group test list as a guide, and be as anoraky as you can to avoid silly questions).

What kind of money are you looking for anyway? Obviously just out of interest, and not as an ad in the PH forum section hehe

That's the problem. I don't know what to ask for it!

I've spent a lot on it and it's all in good nick (I don't come off all that often, and even then it seems to be me taking the battering).
I'll give it a clean one day soon and see what has scratches and what hasn't.

Think I would get more money If I broke it down?

And if anyone feels to want to make an offer, even though I'm not asking for them Get back to me.

You'll get miles more by splitting it.

Im afriad 2nd hand bikes are not worth a whole lot.

With a bit of luck you could sell the frame, forks, wheels, brakes all seperately and make as much as you would a whole frame.

Edit to say - im interested in the Forks if you do split! And no that didnt influence my post, I only thought of it after, hence the edit!
