After going out and buying some new bikes for me & the Missus, we now need to transport them around.

I am after some advice on what make of rear bike rack I should be looking for, I was looking at a Thule Backpac recently on Ebay but did not win it. What other makes should I consider I am really looking for something that will fit on the back of the car not on the roof.

Hollywood, available from all good independant bicycle shops. They are well made, with a good range of fitting options.

What car do you want to fit the rack to?

A Hollywood rack should fit that no problem.

Don't try and go cheap on a bike rack, i have seen some very badly fitted racks with inadequate padding leaving a badly scratched boot.

If the bike shop wont show you how to fit it, try another bike shop.

Because we have 2 bikes a baby trailer (sad I know) and I don't fancy having to keep taking the wheels off all the time, plus we are off to Centre Parcs soon and will have luggage in the boot
