Hi,

I'm thinking of getting back in to biking after not being on one for about 8 years!!
Probably over the coming months buy bits of fleabay etc and build up. Starting use will be work and back until I'm fitter then I'll be off in to the forests but mostly light XC I guess.

Whats a good weight for a frame nowadays? Is there a website that lists the main frames?

Any recommendations would be great aswell

Thanks

Anything from 3lbs for a carbon/titanium hardtail up to 12lbs+ for a Brooklyn or similar DH bike.

Run of the mill hardtail - 4-5lbs

Run of the mill full suspension frame - 7lbs?

*prepares to be proved wrong*
