Which route? something weather friendly...

Morning!

im thinking of going riding this weekend, but cant think of where to go...

I normally ride places like rivington and darwen nr preston and also coed-y-brenin and grizedale, but i want somewhere different but which wont be too dependant on the weather being ok. For instance C-Y-B is ok pretty much whatever the weather, so any recommendations?

Im willing to travel anywhere within 3hrs of preston, and like trails with decent downhills! (doesnt everyone!)

If you can get there - 7stanes in scotland. I've ridden Inners, Glentress and Kirroughtree.... All very, very good.


Much closer, theres some good fun stuff at Dalby in N-yorks ( my 'local' ) wortt a spin on a sunday.

We all went to Penmachno (near Betws Y Coed) on New years eve eve, pissed it down all day but it rode VERY well , only ever done ti dry before one of my favs.
