First decent bike....

...well decent to me anyway.

Recently bought a Ridgeback Cyclone hybrid, and i'm really enjoying it- even in the pouring rain! I've never had anything other than Halfords specials so the ease of riding, lightweight and pace of the Ridge is really enjoyable and a real eye opener- Mrs can't keep up on her Giant. The only things 'wrong' with it are the lack of wet weather braking, and the seat is a bit uncomfortable after a few miles other than that- i'm hooked and the Porsche got an unexpected Xmas break as the bike was used most days.

The new Ridgebacks are awesome. They used to be a bit of a basic brand, but their latest bikes are awesome. A mate works for the importers and took one of them out for a ride and rated it VERY highly and this guy is a picky b*stard.

Enjoy every minute mate. It's a great pastime and the that feeling when you start getting fitter and fitter is incredible. Hills and miles just get eaten up.
