Thought I'd share this, I've used www.chainreactioncycles.com for a few cycle parts and their service is great. Usually order and delivery is the next day. However, just ordered a few parts with delivery by their standard carrier, what a nightmare! Carrier's tracking site showed delivery and signature at 1530 today, oh no it wasn't! Driver had left outside next door neighbours. So wrong house, address on parcel was correct and who knows who owns signature as the neighbours aren't in! I'll be using the additional cost carrier next time!

So this has nothing to do with CRC, but the courier company?

What happened to the the name/shame policy?

Never had problems with chain reactions, If I'm likely to be out, I leave a message saying where to leave the goods.

Did they deliver it to your neighbours by accident?

Guys, nothing up with CRC, they're great, twas the delivery company, that I haven't named you'll notice. CRC do have an alternative company which is who I shall use in the future. No name and shame issue here, haven't named anyone to shame!

I got my latest cr order this morning (ordered Tuesday 11pm). No problem. When you say "standard carrier" it is just normal 1st class post isn't it?, well that's who always bring my stuff anyway. Never had a problem after multiple orders, but then again, I've always been at home to take delivery. I've never had to sign for anything either.

While rooting through all my old paperwork, I worked out I have spent 3 grand on CRC in the last 18months... not bad for soemone who dirves a 750 quid car!

Has to be said - they are a model company in terms of service, however not so sure on their policies, ( can anyone say 'OEM only not for resale'.... )
