Whats your coolest bike gadget
Discussion
I don't really have biking gadgets. I'm not a tinkerer so like components that are simple and just work. My top 3 biking products would be:
1) SPDs... brilliant invention
2) Armour... my Dainese suit and Troy Lee Daytona helmet have saved me a few times.
3) Camelbak.... again a brilliant invention.

i have self-sealing tubes in my mtb wheels, but i like my camelback with ipod clip loop and mobile phone pocket best. also have a flexible rear light that can velcro to the back of my helmet with flash and steady glow modes. and a superlight windcheater/waterproof/breathable thing that scrunches up super small. also like my spd sandals very much, which i learnt about on this forum first!
Front and rear air shocks. Very easy to adjust and 250 psi makes it nice and firm for the road.
Currently (or should I say, I was) making a hybrid. Someone decided to cut me up and I ended up falling off and landing on my elbow. Ended up fracturing my shoulder, which may not have been the worse thing, but I didn't realise and am not a fan of doctor's.
Over a year later and now I can train at the gym again with no pain but will give it another year before going offroad. So for now I want to make my Cannondale much faster. So far it's got Spin thermo-plastis rims and Michalin XC road tyres (like thicker rubber inner tubes)and have purchased a 60T chainring. At the moment the chain ring fails against the frame but I am going to try my hardest to space it out, while not putting too much stress on the chain. Quite how I don't know yet but I am an engineer so I will at least try.
Has anyone tried Conti Grand prix's. They are awesome for accelleration and free wheeling, but a pain to get on and off. If and when I get the new chain ring to fit I may be tempted to buy another pair of Conti's.
I will buy a new cassette for the sake of having a new one to go with the ring and chainm and probably go for a 11T-23T/24T. I did consider simply buying a road bike but i'm too used to the air suspension now.
Any advice/comments on the larger chain ring would be welcome. I plan to use a single chain ring because my legs are reasonably strong...but there are provisions for fitting a second ring on the crank.

60T - that's huge, what cassette?
I use Conti GP Triathlon slicks and they're excellent. Use your reasonably strong legs to stretch them before fitting and they'll be easier to deal with.

I was going to go for a conker (if that's what it's called) type cassette. Smallest gearing possible for the hughest ratio. However it may be much more sensible to go for a cassette that's got a rather large outer ring given that i'm planning on using a 60T chain ring.It is massive by the way. The chain ring that is
