Chain Reaction have further impressed me. Ordered some bits on Tuesday night at about midnight, already arrived!

They don't stock everything and have a smallish selection of frames, forks etc, but for components they're superb.

I have been using them on and off for years !!

Would you believe they used to be a small local bike shop before going into the mail order business !

And I mean small !!, I remember going in for a rear mech about 10 years a ago and most of their stock was in a loft accessed via a small hatch in the ceiling of the shop !!

Their new custom warehouse is something else...massive !! and they have just opened a new shop on the premises.

Very impressive and highly recommended

I have even got stuff posted to the house and I'm only 20 miles down the road

I also ordered some stuff from them same day, same time as you (spooky!) but I'm still waiting. It seems totally unreasonable for me to be getting a bit twitchy wondering where my stuff is, but my last order with them was put in at 4pm Friday and arrived 9:30am Saturday!!! Every order I've had with them has arrived the next day so standards must be slipping! Seriously, I've nothing but good things to same about them

I've used them for some bits, extremely fast delivery and good customer support - I had a quick email from them when I questioned a fault on a headset I bought.

My mate also ordered some bars at a similar time and hasn't got his yet. I must have been lucky

Me and many others use them in Oz - fast and cheaper than buying locally for parts, often half price, including postage.

An update for you, my stuff came yesterday lunch time. One of the things I ordered was a bike computer. All that turned up was the computer attached to an empty box! It should have had wires, mount, magnet + instructions....basically everything you need to use it. So I emailed CR about it, after forwarding a copy of the invoice, they processed an order for all the parts I was missing straight away. This was at 4pm yesterday, all the bits arrived with this mornings post. So they messed up, but sorted it out very impressively This is the first problem I’ve had with them after a few orders so you really timed it well starting this thread

CR have always been my first port of call for bike stuff. Ditto with my friends. Top notch company.

I've dealt with them lots and have largely been impressed. My only gripe is I've had one badly built wheel from them that never ran true, despite much spoke fettling and nipple tweaking. That said, the last set of wheels I bought from them are still true after a year of heavy usage with not even so much as one twist of a nipple.
