Hi Folks

Didn't realise there was more than one of me...a petrol head AND a racing cyclist. I never thought the two could live side by side in this world of Jeremy Clarkson anti-cyclist goings on.

I suppose the drivers that constantly try to run me off the road and kill me are not the same as the drivers on here that have a bit of courtesy and sense

Anyway, to get to the point, I've been racing bikes for about 20 years, have a degree in sports science, lecture in the subject and own my own cycle coaching business. So, if there are like minded individuals out there that race and would like some coaching support, drop me a line.

E-mail a.bloomer@staffs.ac.uk or andy@cyclecoach.com if you're interested

Whilst not really in to cycle racing particularly I am interested in using my bike to increase my current (pittiful) fitness level and put together a routine thats simple enough to manage. The ultimate aim would be to improve my performance whilst racing the tuscan. The tuscan is quite a physical car to drive and obviously as physical performance drops so does concentration.

Got any pointers, I do a little bit of cycling and play squash once a week when we can fit it in.. but I certainly dont feel particularly fit

cheers
