Thoughts on a Ribble Endurance SL E
Discussion
Can anyone advise their thoughts on a Ribble Endurance SL E
I’ve seen one local to me, but know nothing about bikes. It’s got an internal battery, which seems to be putting me off as I’m not sure how it can be replaced later in life if needed.
Would love a Specialised Creo as the look amazing but I don’t have the deep pockets for one.

I have had an SL E for just over 4 years and absolutely love it. It rides just like a normal carbon framed bike until you hit a hill, and then it's like someone has taken 30 years off the age of your heart and lungs.
Power is pretty much seamless, kicks in reliably just under the 15.5 (to 16) MPH speed limit and fades out a fraction over it. No discernable drag at all.
Only downside is the very gentle gradients where you ride just over assistance level and you have a bike that is a couple of KG heavier. In the real world, this is a vanishingly small percentage of the time.
Battery is replaceable (plastic panel under the bottom bracket), but it would be fairly pricey I think.
I would give the bike 5 stars, 10/10 etc. Let me know if you have any other specific questions
